• I realize that Linux Basics may not cover Desktops, but I have wished for a better understanding of the video system. from vesa to xorg. Perhaps I just haven't used Google too wisely yet. At any rate this is an area that we all use now, and an understanding of it when a distro doesn't set up ones monitor correctly is rather important.
