• In Gnome bring up Yelp with the Lifesaver icon or type yelp in an xterm.

• In KDE use Konqueror with info:/ for the address.

• Install tkinfo. The font will look pretty bad most likely. I added this to my ~/.Xresources file:

• PS: try xfontsel to choose a font you like
