Suse and CUPS
Sometimes, when there is a printer-error, Suse does not restart the printer-queue for that printer.
It can be done using YaST2, by erasing the queue and redefining it. But that is not the best solution.
You could also go to the CUPS-webinterface and restart the printer. But that insists on a password,
which (in Suse) you do not know.
You can add yourself as a CUPS-admin using the command
lppasswd -a username
or by changing the configuration as described at
the CUPS-FAQ

There are many ways to contribute: You can answer questions on the mailing-list, you can write a complete tutorial or just a step-by-step documentation on how you completed a specific task using linux. Ask questions if the information on this site is not clear, tell us if we got something wrong, spell-check our writings, whatever.
