Tag Audio Files

The cd ripper program may tag the files if it can. This means you will have a nice looking name for the file as it plays in your program or on your portable player. If there is no tag, then you will see something like “track_01.ogg” and that isn’t very informative. For this reason, you may need to tag your files.

Amarok is one program you can use for this. Create a playlist of your new files and simply type in the desired tags.

Easy Tag is a program specifically for adding tags.
